LaGuardia Airport publishes a free All Terminals Shuttle. Its on-airport loop is different from the Q70 bus to subway connections and from privately booked hotel or car-service pickups.
Where to start
Confirm the terminal on the operating flight before leaving the building. For a move to another LGA terminal, follow signs to the All Terminals Shuttle stop, not a city-bound bus queue. The airport lists stops at every terminal as well as several parking and airport locations. Check the live shuttle tracker and the current terminal stop when you arrive.
How the movement works
The airport describes the All Terminals Shuttle as complimentary and operating around the clock, with a published 15-minute peak and 20-minute off-peak interval. Those are service intervals, not ride times or a guaranteed total connection. A terminal change may add a walk, wait, bag collection, new check-in and security. LGA separately describes the free Q70 Link from Terminals B and C to subway hubs; it is a city transit route, not the terminal loop.
| Decision | What the source describes |
|---|---|
| Within LGA | Free All Terminals Shuttle |
| To subway hubs | Q70 LGA Link from B/C, a separate service |
| Hotel or car pickup | Confirm the terminal-specific booked-provider area |
Before you rely on this route
LaGuardia also publishes different car-service pickup areas: across from Terminal A, Level 2 of the Terminal B parking garage, and the arrivals inner lane at Terminal C. These aren't interchangeable with the terminal shuttle stop. If your next flight is at JFK or EWR, treat that as a ground trip between distinct airports; the All Terminals Shuttle stays within LGA.
Check your operating flight and the airport’s current notice before you go. A short ride or a frequent bus won’t tell you whether you have enough time for the whole connection.
Common questions
Does the free shuttle take me to JFK?
No. It circulates within LaGuardia. JFK is another airport and needs its own ground route.
Does a 15-minute interval mean a 15-minute connection?
No. It is the airport’s peak service interval; walking, waiting and flight formalities are additional.
