Frankfurt Airport’s current map points travelers to T1 and T3 and marks T2 closed. If an older guide still sends you to T2, don’t follow it without checking your flight’s live terminal.
Current terminal status
The airport map assigns Gates A through C and Z to T1 and Gates G, H and J to T3. It states that T2 is currently closed. The supplied operator announcement placed T2’s passenger closure in June 2026; this is a status to recheck before your flight, not a permanent rule.
If your flight uses T3
Look up the operating carrier and live gate first. Frankfurt describes the SkyLine as a T1–T3 connection and gives a shuttle alternative outside some rail hours. Ask the airport or airline which path applies to your arrival zone and travel time.
Pre-departure check
- Check both flights in Frankfurt’s live flight information.
- Open the current terminal map rather than a saved pre-2026 image.
- Confirm the operating window, boarding point and any border or security control.
