RJ Travel's April 2025 guide states that on tours including Kandahar, a local guide will meet you at the airport with a welcome sign, and that round-trip transfers and emergency contact information will be coordinated by the Kabul office. This is a procedure for customers who have made reservations for the company, and the current flight/meeting area must be confirmed separately.

- Terminal Project Warning: The April 12, 2026 Bakhtar report carrying the government announcement covers the commencement of construction of a new terminal and vehicle parking project at Ahmad Shah Baba Airport. This is a construction project with a two-stage construction project and a planned period of approximately two and a half years, so this isn't evidence that the new terminal is already in operation.Search excerpt from the linked source; open the full page to confirm · checked 2026-11-01 · bakhtarnews.af ↗
